The prominent factors of the selection of injecting contraception equipment in women of childbearing age in Yogyakarta

Introduction: The increasing population growth has prompted the government to launch a family planning program. One of programs is use contraceptives. provides various contraceptives, one which injection contraception. Multiple factors influence choice objective this study was analyze that contraceptives for women childbearing age (WCA).Methods: This used qualitative research method with descriptive-analytic approach. respondents were nine people. sampling technique purposive sampling. conducted on January 22 – February 06, 2021, in Brajan hamlet, Bantul. instruments interview guides, field notes and voice recorders.Results: There six themes related influencing contraceptive methods Brajan, Tamantirto, Kasihan, Bantul, Special Region Yogyakarta. Mother's experience while using injectable mother's perception use, social support mothers choosing advantages sources information contraception, motivation choose contraceptives.Conclusion: conclusion comfortable safe, view have advantages, mild side effects, easy installation methods, obtained from help their husbands, friends who participation midwives them, include common low cost, installation, safe breastfeeding, contraception are health workers, media, relatives friends, than mother’s delay or regulate pregnancy spacing, provide comfort during maintain healthy body condition.
